These pretty grass green earrings are vitreous enamel over sterling silver.
The silver is a cast impression of the broken end of a honeycomb soldering block. I like to take wax impressions of my domestic and work surroundings and cast them in silver as a base for enamel.
Sterling silver hammer detail and hook finding.
Total length 3cms, width approx. 1cm. The silver under the enamel is approx. 1mm thick
