Sterling silver and grass green enamel earrings
Sterling silver imprinted with a lace pattern, and then enamelled. Oxidised back.
The vitreous enamel was applied in 2-3 layers, fired in the kiln between layers.
This lace was given to me via a circuitous route. It was from a lingerie shop owned by a family friend at the 'Paris' end of Collins Street in Melbourne. The building was demolished when Nauru House was built.
Disc: 20 x 20mm
